What People are Saying About Jellystone Park Resort...
"Better than expected, great staff!"
We stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage. It was between Yogi's park and the Holiday Inn that is across the street from Six Flags. Holiday Inn lets people smoke where the children are.. arcade, pool, etc. My daughter has asthma and I dont care to be around the smoke either... sooo Yogi's park - here we went! It was better than we expected. Cozy, cozy. My 5 year old daughter LOVED the tiny bunk-bed room. We would have liked a larger bed than the Full Size that they offer, but we did ok. They have nice toppers on the bed. My husband is 6 feet 4 and he did fine.
We cooked out at night and cooked breakfast (ate on the picnic table). The money you would spend eating out in 1 day is saved because of the kitchen (stocked with dishes, pots, pans, silverware, utensils.) If you need tupperware or napkins, etc.. bring your own. They provided linens, but I would bring your blankets and dish towels, etc. It was nice to wake up, raise the blinds (our windows, most had screens) and look at the forest and large rocks. It was not busy when we went ( weekend before Memorial day).
Brittany and Denise were a great help, as were everyone there. Noone bothers you, but if you need anything, they are right there to help and all had a great attitude. VERY CLEAN place! It was too cold to swim, but they were still keeping it clean just in case. I was impressed. The entrance was adorable and I even got excited. We all loved it and my 5 year old said it was home away from home. We also took our 7 month old son and he did fine. They had long marshmellow sticks at the General Store, so we did the marshmellow thing at the campfire. Was fun and tasty :) I give a 5 stars, because we did not want to leave.
"So much fun!"
We stayed at Jellystone for a family getaway/birthday weekend for our 3yr old. Our stay was wonderful! There we events and games going on all day and night. Our son loved it! It was a bit pricey, but for the activities and ammenities they have, i feel it was well worth it. The cabins are very basic, but i actually slept better there than at any hotel. I can never get a full night's sleep at a hotel for some reason, but the matress topper they had on the full size bed was very comfortable. The bathrooms are very basic like any other campground bathroom. They were pretty clean during our stay though.
The pool has lots of seating and enough room for everyone to play. Jellystone also has a minature golf course, playground, shuffleboard, and a volleyball court. You can even check out games from the general store. After walking around the campground, I believe the were almost full, but there were never an abundance of people. It never felt crowded. I would recomend to stay here if you get a chance!
"Convenient to Six Flags"
If you are going to this park, then this is the place to stay. They have a lot to offer the kids and at Christmas they have a beautiful light display that is worth the price of admission.

"The whole family loved it!"
Loved this resort! The facilities were first rate & ultra clean. Every staff member went out of their way to be friendly and helpul. There are tons of activities so our kids (ages 5, 8, 14) were never bored. There's a charge for some activities involving crafts or food but the cost was minimal and many were free. We took the family package so we got free mini-golf and train rides. It also came with two free Six Flags tickets but it rained the day we were supposed to go so we sold the tickets. However, we spent the day at the resort and had a blast. The cottage was not large but quite nice. The resort was very busy and yes, a little crowded, but it was no big deal and we made a lot of new friends. Bottom line- we can't wait to go back.

"Had a great time!"
The park was very clean with lots of stuff for the kids (us big kids too) to do. Although it can be a little crowded, that just added to the fun for my family to meet other people and for the kids to play with. The cottages were clean. The whole park was clean and the staff were very friendly. Pretty much everything you need is right there. If you are going to Six Flags, or visiting St. Louis, I would highly recommend it. It is more of a resort - not just a campground, which we thoroughly enjoyed!

"It keeps getting better!"
We have been staying at this campground for six years and it just keeps getting better! They recently added big rig pull through sites and wireless internet. It's rated a 10 by Woodalls and for a 10 rated park, the off season price is amazingly low. The in-season price is quite a bit higher but still a good value for the quality of the facilities and all they offer. The entire camground is spotlessly clean and the employees are extremely friendly and helpful. My family especially enjoys their activity program which offers many different fun things to do. The campground is next to Six Flags and they give away free Six Flags tickets with a minimum stay. Our friends stayed in one of their cottages and they are very nice and clean. We camped here in a Motorhome.
"Best Christmas Light Display in the City"
This review is strictly for the light display since I can honestly say, I have not camped nor had any desire to camp, since my days as a Girl Scout.
That said, no holds bar, this is the best Christmas Light Display in the city. I know I am a bit ahead of my holidays here, but put this on your list this December. It's $10 a car to get in, but incredibly easy to find tickets for free or half off in any number of papers around Christmas time. Also, they have a train you can ride through the park instead if that's more your speed. I rode the train one year and I have to admit, it was far better than wearing out my clutch for the half hour trip through the park.
Now to describe the lights. They are amazing. There's a huge waterfalls, big tacky cardboard cut outs, about 12 Santa's, gingerbread houses, cheesey music you can get on your car stereo so you don't have to roll your windows down and freeze, and an awesome light tunnel. They really do this park well and it's just gorgeous to drive through. Also, no shortage of cheesey and tacky to keep you laughing at how ridiculous Christmas has truely become. I end up at this place every year to gaze at these lights with friends or family and I have a great time every year.
