2008 Family Fun Guide
At Jellystone Park Resort adults can unwind while younger campers have fun at supervised activities, games, and themed events. Plus, the whole family is sure to enjoy activities like the 4th of July Carnival Weekend, Yogi Bear Olympics, and the month-long Halloween Spooktacular. With 19 weekends already planned, Yogi promises there will be no end to the fun at Jellystone Park this season! Click here to check out the 2008 calendar!
May
The month of May is always tons of fun for the whole family. Mother's Day Weekend is just around the corner, and Yogi wants to treat all moms to a free pancake and sausage breakfast on Sunday morning. Other weekend events include the popular game Runway Mom! Death by Chocolate Weekend is next, with a chocolate themed obstacle course, all chocolate gingerbread house making, and much more. Chocolate lovers beware!
The annual Yogi Bear Olympics, set for May 19th through May 26th, are one of Jellystone Park's most popular events. The whole family is invited to participate in races, games, and more. There will even be a visit by St. Louis' funniest clown, Silly Jilly!
Next up is MLB Weekend, complete with a baseball obstacle course, baseball crafts, and best of all, a showing of the Cardinals game on our veranda. There's something for everyone to love during the month of May at Jellystone Park.
From chocolate eating, balloon animals, and crafts, to a baseball game on the big screen, sports competitions, and special appreciation of our moms!
June
June is a great month for all of the explorers and adventurers in the family. Yogi and the gang kick things off with Around the World, a week-long exploration of Africa, Australia, Mexico, China, and Egypt, and follow up the next week with Mad Science, a fun-filled expoloration of basic scientific concepts.
At the tail end of June join us for Yogi's Jungle Safari and Creepy Crawl Week, when we'll make our own animal masks, go on a safari hike, design our own geckos, and meet live alligators, snakes, and other reptiles when Serengeti Steve comes to visit! Don't think we've fogotten Father's Day -- Yogi will hosting a free pancake and sausage breakfast for dads on June 15th!
July
Things really starting heating up in July, with fantastic events like Boo-Boo's birthday and Yogi's Hawaiian Luau, when the whole family can learn how to Hula dance and create lei necklaces.
Our biggest event this month is the 4th of July Carnival, complete with games, red-white-and-blue hat 
making, and a visit from Silly Jilly the clown! Independence Day falls on a Friday this year, which means a three-day weekend with Yogi!
The holiday celebrations continue the final week of July when we celebrate Christmas at Jellystone Park. Make gingerbread houses, paint a holiday necklace, even throw a snowball. At Jellystone Park there's Christmas magic even in July!
August
Ahoy and Howdy! The month of August is sure to entertain and inspire, with two action-packed themes -- Pirate Adventure and the Wild West Round-Up, as well as the kick-off of Wet & Wild Weekend August 29th through September 1st.
During Jellystone's pirate days we invite you to climb aboard with Yogi and his crew. Create your own pirate hat and search for hidden treasure! Hold on to your hat, because next up is the Wild West Round-Up, full of fun activities including line dancing lessons!
To say goodbye to summertime and another great season, we'll be hosting Steve Leslie, St. Louis' best musical act on Saturday August 30th. Dance, sing along, or just sit back and enjoy the entertainment. It's also Wet & Wild Weekend, so bring your water toys and guns and get ready for some water games!
September
As the 2008 season winds down at Jellystone Park we'll already be celebrating what's to come in the fall - Halloween!
For a whole month we'll be hosting a SPOOK-tacular, with hayrides, candy, and costumed events every Saturday evening. There will even be a haunted trail for the brave at heart.
2008 is shaping up to be a great season. Book now and join in the fun with Yogi, Boo Boo, and the rest of the gang!
